In the mood for more than just an imperial dinner at the Café-Restaurant Residenz? Why don´t you stay a little longer, following the footsteps of the former Habsburg emperors and empresses in this marvellous place? Taking a tour through the magnificent state and private rooms of Schoenbrunn Palace before you enjoy your imperial dinner will leave a very special impression and will whet your appetite for knowing more about how the imperial court used to live, feel, think and act.Individual guests will take the Palace Tour on their own with an audio guide during the opening hours of Schoenbrunn Palace. Groups of 10 or more will take the palace tour with their individual guide – exclusively and after the official opening hours of Schoenbrunn Palace.
After you have taken a look into Empress Sisi´s mirror and Emperor Franz Joseph´s bedroom, you will take a walk through the beautiful Baroque garden of Schoenbrunn Palace towards the Schoenbrunn Orangery. And after dinner, the evening will end with a very special concert. Enjoy the merry tunes of Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart and Johann Strauss, performed by Schoenbrunn Palace Orchestra. The orchestra is accompanied by two opera singers, a soprano and a baritone, as well as two ballet dancers in authentic costumes. An evening to remember!

Please pick up all documents in our office in the Schoenbrunn Orangery. Our office is open daily (Sundays and public holidays as well!) from 9:00 am.

Our staff will will wait for you next to the admission-ticket windows in the main-entrance hall of Schoenbrunn Palace to hand over all documents to you personally at 5:20 pm.

How to get there
Station: Schönbrunn
Don´t worry! “Travelling like in the old days” is not part of our packages! The underground goes in 5 – 8 minute intervals approximately until midnight. And the modern aequivalents of the former horse-drawn carriages, a.k.a taxis, are available in front the entrance of the Orangery.
