Feel the pulse of history in Schoenbrunn (from 10 persons up)
Ever heard of the mysterious fan language common among the noble ladies at court in Vienna? Or would you perhaps like to learn how to dance the gavotte, a dance which was absolutely hip in the Baroque days? Feel the pulse of history! This group package offers a very special journey into past centuries. After an elegant cocktail reception in the Kaiserhof (Imperial Court) of Schoenbrunn Palace, the palace´s master of ceremony himself will guide you through the magnificent state and private rooms of the palace, telling you many interesting stories about the official life and the private life of the Habsburg family.
Taking advantage of their position, the Habsburg emperors and empresses used to enjoy only the best of cuisine. And you will do just the same! A delightful four-course candlelight dinner is served for you in the Café-Restaurant Residenz.
The highlight of this imperial program will be a very special concert at the Schoenbrunn Orangery, a venue which was often used as a splendid setting for sumptuous festivities in the times of the Habsburg royalty. Enjoy the melodies of Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart and Johann Strauss, performed by an excellent orchestra, a baritone, a soprano and two ballet dancers.
This package can be booked for groups from 10 to 25 persons. Larger groups on request!

The Concert
Let the Schoenbrunn Palace Orchestra take you on a trip into the very heart of the former imperial Vienna. The sound of Mozart and Strauss, marvellous solo singers and ballet dancers, and the unique setting of the Schoenbrunn Orangery will give you a timeout from the modern world. The Orangery – the former palmery of the Habsburg Emperors – is located only a couple of minutes´ walk from Schoenbrunn Palace. And it is the perfect venue to bring out the best of Mozart´s and Strauss´ unique melodies. Knowing perfectly well about the advantages of this magnificent venue, Emperor Joseph II often used the Orangery as a splendid setting for sumptuous festivities. During one of these festivities, Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart and Antonio Salieri competed in a musical contest, remarkably staged by Milos Forman in his movie “Amadeus”. How often do you get the chance to enjoy such brilliant tunes in a truly original venue?
