Follow the footsteps of Mozart and the former Habsburg emperors and empresses! Taking a tour through the magnificent state and private rooms of Schoenbrunn Palace will leave a very special impression and will whet your appetite for knowing more about how the imperial court used to live, feel, think and act.
After the palace tour, you will dine like Mozart once did. Our Mozart dinner, served at Café-Restaurant Residenz, will take you on a culinary journey back to the 18th century. And after you have taken a little walk through the Baroque garden of Schoenbrunn Palace, the evening will end with a very special concert, performed by the Schoenbrunn Palace Orchestra in the Schoenbrunn Orangery.

- Upon arrival at the Schoenbrunn Orangery, a welcome aperitif will put you in the right mood for the concert.
- When you have returned back home again, a souvenir concert programme with numerous illustrations and information about the Orangery, about Schoenbrunn Palace, the orchestra and the solo artists will give you the chance to return to imperial Vienna to follow the footsteps of Mozart and Strauss whenever you please.
- And even with your eyes shut you will be able to follow Mozart´s footsteps any time back home: with our Best of Mozart CD featuring world-famous melodies by Mozart, performed by the Schoenbrunn Palace Orchestra.
- Concert and seating: Enjoy Mozart and Strauss highlights, opera singers and ballet dancers in authentic costumes – live in the Orangery, from reserved seats in the first or second row. Feel the pulse of history!

How to get there
Station: Schönbrunn
Don´t worry! “Travelling like in the old days” is not part of our packages! The underground goes in 5 – 8 minute intervals approximately until midnight. And the modern aequivalents of the former horse-drawn carriages, a.k.a taxis, are available in front the entrance of the Orangery.
